About

Mission

I started this blog first as a place to share some of my insights into various bible topics. Although I still enjoy doing just that, this blog has grown to be much more and I hope it continues to grow.

My main purpose is to point skeptics to the truth of the Gospel using apologetics as well as informing both believers and non-believers of the times we’re living in preceding the return of Jesus Christ. At Himitsu, you’ll find everything from short blog posts on current events tying into bible prophecy to in-depth series spanning multiple books of the bible. With Himitsu, I strive to:

  • Answer doubts and questions posed against the bible’s reliability and origin using archaeology, history, science, current events, and prophecy
  • Address common misconceptions and arguments about key stories and ideas such as Noah’s flood or the existence of evil
  • Communicate the simplicity and necessity of the Gospel as outlined in the bible

Why “Himitsu”?

It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, But the glory of kings is to search out a matter.” (Proverbs 25:2)

The bible tells us in various places that God hides certain information for his purposes and also divulges information to those who seek it out. Passages such as Proverbs 25:2 and Jeremiah 33:3 make this point clear to us. Himitsu is a Japanese word that means “secret” that goes along with this idea. I chose a Japanese word specifically due to my love for the language and culture and make use of it in my content.

These 2 verses as well as “Himitsu” captures the beginning moments of an idea that eventually led to the birth of this blog site; it started with a passion to study the “secrets” of the bible many were unfamiliar with and to share that information to others. This is the heart of Himitsu – End Times Study.

“Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” (Jeremiah 33:3)
